Port Campbell got its name from the last of the buccaneers, Captain Alexander Campbell, who traded between Victoria and Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmania), in the early 1840s.
Port Campbell is the only sheltered refuge between Apollo Bay and Warrnambool, and is a popular holiday resort. Located 221kms South-west of Melbourne, it offers great starting point to experience the Great Ocean Road with Loch Ard Gorge, London Bridge and the Twelve Apostles as attractions.
